If dreams come true - Benedict Cumberbatch would play Carl in an HBO-series based on my books. :-D And yes, I actually did dream that he played Carl, this very night, which is quite curious since I've described Carl as a young Robert Redford. Curious as I got, I had to check out the photos, and indeed, the two actors actually share some similarities in their looks, as you can see on the photos. The subconsciousness is a fun place, don't you think...? I still prefer Redford, but alas, he's not young anymore, and I think I can come around to Cumberbatch. He has a great smile as well as a penetrating gaze that could make anyone feel uncomfortable...
